HRI Pioneers Workshop

HRI Pioneers seeks to foster creativity and collaboration surrounding key challenges in human-robot interaction and empower students early in their academic careers. Each year, the workshop brings together a cohort of the world's top student researchers and provides the opportunity for students to present and discuss their work with distinguished student peers and senior scholars in the field. Pioneers is a premiere forum for graduate students in HRI, thus we invite students at any stage of their academic career to consider applying.

HRI Pioneers was a fantastic experience. I built connections with top young researchers from around the globe and listened to distinguished keynote speakers. I also had the chance to interact with a panel of researchers currently working in industry, most of which were past Pioneers. For HRI Pioneers 2023, I have the honor of being a part of the organizing committee as the US General Chair. I look forward to putting together another amazing workshop Stockholm, Sweden!
